Theory study of the structure and function of the skin, common skin disorders, and scalp and hair disorders are included in the curriculum. Hands on instructions include providing facial massages, facials, and barbering services such as haircutting, styling ,and preparing students for customer relationships.
Theory courses are offered in combined laboratory-classroom settings, so students may learn hair care by demonstration, experimentation and with the instructor guidance.
